Most of these amps lithe the protect LED then after a short delay, go to power. Is this one going into protect again after the power LED lights up?

Do you have good drive to all of the output FETs with no FETs in the circuit?
Does the board show any signs of overheating where the MPSA42 are, in the board?

How should I look at the waveform without the transistors
The board looks clean. No overheating seen on the pcb
You should see a drive signal of the same frequency as the input to the RCAs (50-100Hz recommended) with an amplitude of about 12v. One will be at the negative rail. The other will be referenced to ground.
