It does matter a bit. The input impedance of Z4 is 47K,
so you want the potentiometers maximum output impedance
to be smaller than that.
The maximum source impedance of a potentiometer used
as a voltage divider (the output = wiper) is 1/4 the value
of the pot.
A 50K pot would give 12K, which would be the maximum
