potentiometer problem?!

i have two double potentiometer from car audio old cassette player that i ripped off

the problem with them when i turning the knob somewhere in the middle it got stuck and i need to put a bit more force to complete the cycle

throw them away or can i using them for the cmoy i planning to build?

Reasonable quality pots are cheap enough. I'd bin them.
