Loose leads on Taiwan product

the EBay seller I mentioned ships from Taiwan. I've ordered, tested and used the resistors with no issues whatsoever -

I got 40 from ATseng on ebay @$0.50 and many of those "MPC74" resistors had loose leads! 🙁

I hope Davide will be getting us the good ones, esp at US$1.00 each (twice the cost)!

Well, $0.50 a resistor does not get you closely matched sets of 8 resistors, nor does it include a charitable donation to the Earthquake/Tsunami victims...

I matched 1000 MOSFET once for a GB.
The first 100 was still fun......

But then you have the motivation for doing something good for the victims in Japan.
So my most sincere respect for that action.

I should add that LT1083 is a better choice for making a 2A CCS than the LM317 mentioned in the article.

But I have no sympathy for Tepco, and not much for the Japanese government either.

Hi

I've ordered 20pcs of 220R resistors and the matched pairs are in 8, which means I get 16 pcs of matched resistors, correct? And the balance of 4 is not matched, correct?
