I am here to announce that if I will be closing payment for this GB in exactly 7 days. This is only for the small parts and protection GBs. If you have areanged for other payment terms then that is obviously OK but others need to talk.
The large parts GB looks like it will not get enough members to make the price bracket. Unless this changes or people express they would still like it to go ahead it will likely occur that that GB will have to be cancelled.
CeeVee please pm me as I need to talk to you about your payment. It has not come through into my PayPal account it would seem. We need to fix this.

If i am correct in my accounting, the Capacitors, large relays, conectors and power switch is all that is outstanding.

As far as I can remember the source resistors were offered via GB.

- M4 brass hardware (standoffs, nuts, screws) for construction of PCB connectors.
- maybe terminal strips or blocks for hooking up the three transformers with mains?
- Looking at the most recent PSU schematics (which is in fact a wiring guide for the whole F5X): The AUX transformer wants to be served by its own fuse. I can't remember having seen specs for fuse and fuseholder.

Just an update. I have put in the main order for the protection board parts, I will be putting in the secondary order soon.

Are the SMDs individually sealed in coffins from a reel? Leave them in there. Just cut off enough for each order.

Andrew T, what do you mean by sealed in coffins? If you mean in cut tape, then, no I was not going to take the parts out of the cut tape.
However as you would realise there are many different types of capacitors, resistors etc, and the markings on each of these is not prominent.
Would taping the cut tape with esd tape be more ammenable for you.

I have only bought a few hundred smds, but all arrived still in the manufacturer's plastic strip.
These are strip of moulded little pockets just big enough to hold one component and sealed over with a strip of clear plastic.
They were supplied as cut strips with 10 or 25 or whatever. All sealed up against foreign objects touching the device or it's pins.
Just name the device on it's plastic strip.
