I understood Australasia to include everything in the West Pacific and West of the Pacific, all the way across till we reach the bounds of Africa and Europe.

I see nothing politically incorrect in my understanding/interpretation.

Now, what is the geological age of Australia compared to Asia?
I know that large bits of Scotland are a lot older than England and much of Europe, but I don't know precisely which area/rock formation is actually the oldest within Europe.
