Hi Folks ,I was tearing appart an old mixer yesterday so I could use it for parts , especially the pots as it had about 75 pots in it and none were scratchy....
well I came to realize after opening up the Mixer that all the Pots had 6 Pins and all in a Row...not like a normal dual ganged pot that has 2 odvious gangs with 2 rows of 3 pins, these pots look like a single gang in that they aren"t 2 pots thick but they have 6 pins tightly spaced next to each other in a Row....
Has anyone ever seen one of these types of pots?? do you know if they are Dual ganged or some other type??
Thanx

They used to be pretty common in lower priced equipment. Check out digikey and look for panasonic evj series. An example is http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail?name=P2U4103-ND
I would say they're dual if its 6 pins. Linear or log.

I'm trying to replace a similar 10k pot made by Roki. I can't see a part # on it, but it looks like it could be a R1213G ( ROKI International Co Ltd ) Looking at the data sheets, to me the mounting looks different from the Panasonic EVJC00. Can anybody tell better than I can if the EVJC00 will replace the R1213G, or where I might look for a suitable replacement part?
Thanks
