We just put up a WiFi camera bird feeder. It took the better part of a day before any birds visited and then a sparrow had its own private feeder for a couple days. Now, on the fourth day, business has picked up. Watching this momma and baby has been interesting. The youngster makes a pecking motion but stops short of the seed and then mom feeds it.
Need a hummingbird feeder in front of the camera too, if they are in your area.
@MegaNutball Thank you for the suggestion! That's a terrific idea. I put a cedar 4x4 in the ground for the feeder and a separate camera. An arm to hang one of our hummingbird feeders a foot or so in front of this thing should be easy enough 👍
A medium sized garter snake that must have felt he was well hidden. We have loads of them around but they're usually quick to slither off.
Nice photo, do you have a porter to lug that lens around for you?
