Not a big deal Why don’t we make a rule that everyone gets one post with instruments they haven’t built and have bought? ‘Cause we all like seeing beautiful stuff, which in fact is good to get ideas, but we don’t want to dilute the DIY thing too much?
Zackly. Maybe one for well built bought stuff. And may I suggest allowing posts pointing out well engineered and crafted pieces, with the explicit intention of pointing out a component of the construction for others to note should they wish to try to develop things using that concept.
Frinstance, thanks to the post above that mentioned Eko guitars, I looked them up. Some models have what seems to me to be a significantly improved joint for bolt on necks. This led me to consider working up a retrofit for common bolt ons to improve the joint. And THAT got me thinking about extending that along the north/south axis of the back of the body to develop a hybrid bolt on/through body joint. Now should I actually built this, of course it would fit it. My suggestion is to allow posts such as this frinstace example.
Just bough a Harmony H165. Needs a neck reset and the bridge glued on. No idea when I will get to it. Didn't quibble about the $65 price.
Hello everybody,
Does anybody from Toronto, Canada know where to buy multi effects processor and a guitar in one shop in Toronto?

Chrisb requested some closeups of the fret work of my daughters new guitar, so I thought that this was the best place to post them 🙂

Ah Paul Reed Smith. The birds are his thing. Korea is now the high end Asian guitar maker.
The same way that Taiwan used to be a cheaper bicycle maker and is now the “fancy” place Those PRS SE models are considered a good deal for the quality.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
