Quoting a larger post will add a "Click to expand..." at the bottom, but when clicking on the Expand, for a larger post it would only show partial quotation which is often bewildering as it is not always apparent whether a larger post have been cut short.
If possible I would like to see a vertical scrollbar appearing on the right side of the quotation box when expanding a quotation, and why not on a non-expanded quotation as well.

I believe you should see the whole quote after clicking expand.. so if it isn't the whole post then the member quoting would have cut it short.
Here is one post where I quoted myself from another post, in the quotation I only see beginning part, and that part happens to be another member I quoted in that post, so my post is not even visible at all even after having expanded the quotation, people coming by have no idea what's going on here, so I have to add a disclaimer beneath the quotation to go to the original post in order to see the whole post, which isn't very convenient neither for the poster nor the visitors.
Below three attached picture shows what I see.
Before expanding
After expanding
Here is the original post being quoted

This is not a quote, but an embedded link. It does seem to cut off the post as you say. This does not seem ideal, but the embedded link is only meant as a preview. I understand the purpose isn't obvious so it may not be clear that it's meant to be clicked on and followed.
Due to this, I like to retain standard links and to do any quoting separately.

I am sure that speakers that absolutely don't sound boxy exist
I would only like to know what makes them sounding not boxy
That boxy feeling is just not acceptable
I think I have found in the baffle design and build the key factor
From what I have read learned and watched the best baffle could be very rigid with some kind of damping
Like a turntable plinth for instance
staying on speaker a very interesting solution imho for baffle is the one of the epos es11

it should be very rigid Plastic is not the very best material Something similar but in metal with the spaces...

Ok so I am not yet familiar with the updated forum SW since autumn 2024 and what it is doing, I usually copy the URL link from the '#n' post number link in the upper right corner for the post I want to link directly to and paste it into the text field as is, but the forum SW then thinks it should be an embedded link (this seem to be a new feature, at least I can't recall this behavior from before autumn 2024 update), I am not sure the reason behind this logic and use because the way the linked post looks like is quite similar to a quotation yet it can't be fully expanded, just like the "Testing 1..." example in post #5 above, I am not doing anything particular than just pasting in the link directly in the text field, under "Testing 2..." I am using "Insert link (Cntrl+K)" (the chain symbol), an additional step.
Here is a shortcut you can use. Place a hyphen plus a space before your link and it will not be shown as embedded.
Eg:
- https:\\www......
Eg:
- https:\\www......
Testing 3... hyphen plus space

edit: Ok, that's one way, yet I hope the expand button gets fixed so it shows the whole post for an embedded post link, just the way quotations work, and/or some added disclaimer note and link that takes the visitor to the original post, hopefully Jason & co can make some change.
ps. just learned a hyphen is a "short dash" :)
