Technically, I guess 62 miles up and back down again qualifies as “to space”, but calling them astronauts is an insult to real ones.
qualifies as “to space”
Egde of space. Actually just a huge 1-hump rollercoaster. 3 min of weightlessness, the time between when the rocket quits accelerating and before it starts falling back down.
BTW: the best “kiss the ground, was Mr Bezos

^ I know, the flight was like five chicks taking a joy ride inside a rocket that looks like it runs on batteries (hint!)

Definitely not astronauts... did Katy Perry actually said she "read a book on string theory" and listened to Carl Sagan to prepare for this flight?
But, still, one heck of an E-Ticket Ride.
Next time we go to Disneyland I'll make sure to watch the original Snowhite and Dumbo before we go on the Tea Cup ride ( one of my favorites )... I might have to refresh my Classical Mechanics before we ride to Space on this... Lemme see... f= ma.... p=mv.... v(t) = dx/dt
Let's go.... 3.. 2.. 1.....

Specially if its five chicks on a true "earthshaking" ride.
I wonder if they made a video? Gotta make sure the data of the experience is not lost for further research, huh?

The last time I saw women like that... it was the result of a lot of cosmos... a couple of pitchers of cosmopolitans, that is....
...nothing to do with space, if you know what I mean.
With all due respect, why does that picture make you laugh?

They might not want to show one or more of them panicking.
Not really agree since those travelers never crossed the Kármán line and therefore "technically" they were never in space.Technically, I guess 62 miles up and back down again qualifies as “to space”
Agreed. 😉calling them astronauts is an insult to real ones.
