Post a Picture that Makes You Laugh

I once broke a 42 mm impact socket. Apparently there's such a thing as too much leverage. I only had about 2 m worth of extension on the ratchet wrench. 🙂

This was on the tracks of a Leopard 1A5 tank in case anyone is wondering.

Until last year my son used to work on the Vermeer Terrain Leveler (Surface Miner) in the pic below. Like a tank, it has a lot of big fasteners (it weighs 185 tonnes with twin 600hp Cat engines) They regularly used a huge lever to loosen things, and used a fork lift to push down on the lever, or the overhead crane to pull up on it, to loosen stuff. I used to cringe about some of the cowboy stuff they did, safety wise. Lots of stuff broke, but he learned how to problem solve to get big things apart!

BUT, when they did the tracks they used a tool I believe was made by a Canadian firm, a RAD gun (https://www.radtorque.com/), with a remote control. Sounds scary to use; apparently the nuts loosened with a loud bang and things could go flying. But at least you were standing out of range...

You can believe that photo is real or not, while I can't change someone's beliefs. 🙂

I've never posted a video in this thread which is dedicated to photographs, but in this case I'll make an exception.
Of course, the video could also be fake. 😉
Nowadays it seems that we will have to get used to believing that what is true is false and that what is false is true...
