This is both funny and sad at the same time. I have a growing collection of used but good CPU chips from upgrades or dead motherboards. I spot a $79 motherboard on Amazon that accepts an old Ryzen 7 chip I have which was replaced with a Ryzen 9 a couple years ago, so I buy it. I get the box today and find a warning sticker on the box that at first made me laugh. A while later I began to realize that for this sticker to be on the box someone or their unsupervised child must have actually done this which probably resulted in legal action. The sticker is not present in the pictures of the box on Amazon.
We had a temporary ban on their sale. I couldn't replace one in a key fob for a while until labels were changed and they were all placed behind the counter.
Here, not very long ago, a child didn’t survived swallowing one of these button-batteries. Nothing changed, anyone can buy them at the groceries, no warning sign. But I didn’t taste them.
