There are signs on the Tweetsy Trail prohibiting motorized vehicles. They still ride on it. Not peddling going up hill? Yea, you are getting exercise.
Around here they are used for trnsportation, certainly not exercise.

All I know is that porky people around here riding uphill without pedaling think they're getting exercise. These same people ride around without a shirt and they haven't lost any visible amounts of weight after a couple of years.
They're probably gaining weight from the not-walking and not-pedaling.

E-bikes are cheap and convenient transportation. There is no reason that overweight people can't use them like anyone else. You have no idea what such people are thinking. As a Canadian in the US, I know the high price of fuel in Canada, especially in BC.
