The Google translation reports something that is not very understandable to me.
My basic thought is that there is no need to unite, precisely because we all already are, even if not everyone has realized it yet and frankly in the comfort-zone of any forum I don't think the "marbles" (just what you call them) are involved in any way. IMO
However, I didn't understand your speech, if you speak regardless of the fact that I'm not a native English speaker, but the censored words are quite significant, maybe.

@ulogon - His response was not in any way (in my opinion) a judgement or something to be taken negatively; rather it was a humorous comment towards the very obvious example of "lost in translation" that had just occurred.
@Cal Weldon - On a serious note, your reply, while short, really was loaded with cultural/language specific phrases, wasn't it? Kinda funny that it would take a good couple of paragraphs just to explain the nuances present in two sentences - it really is a lot to ask of Google translate... Really makes how much GT has accomplished and how well it does work pretty impressive, IMO.

I believe that avoiding wanting to understand that speaking in that way to a non-native English speaker is just a lack of sensitivity (and I didn't say respect) which frankly I find (very) unkind.
You can't imagine what it means for someone not to understand the meaning of what someone else wrote unless they experience it firsthand.
