In my opinion all automatic spelling corrections should be banned. They generate more faults than they correct or you cannot see anymore who is able to write correct
Break failures is when you forget to take your breaks. Brake failures, on the other hand, can be pretty scary. Homophones are fun.

Well, I guess if you were flexible enough, it would fit where you’re sometimes told to put it?
Because:I spelled it correctly so you wouldn't take offence.
PS- my OS puts a dashed line under offence and tries to autocorrect. Why is that you suppose?
😉
a. You have the wrong dictionary set for English?
b. MS's spell checker can't tell the difference between a verb and a noun?
That's why its a rule and not a law!Yes, English is a tricky language.
When I was a kid in school, we learned the "I before E except after C" rule, but now it has been disproved by science.
So did I, and my teacher immediately pointed out there were exceptions.. but then noted that it tends to hold true when the sound made is "ee". So I preface that before saying the rule. When I was a kid in school, we learned the "I before E except after C" rule, but now it has been disproved by science.
Yup, works about 90% of the time. That's why its a rule and not a law!
Here's where it doesn't.
I don't wish to either be feisty nor weird, but it seems foreign to me that neither height nor heist follow this leisurely suggestion of I before E.
I seize the opportunity to either forfeit my sovereignty either from my place or theirs to ensure my relative height in this community.
And if you thought that was interesting, let's turn the tables. I before E, right after C.
Science had been shown as deficient in identifying species without sufficient head count. Efficiency increases with more specimens.
