I was at Crater Lodge in Tanzania w a couple of UAL stews (50 years ago, let the record be clear!) and a "bird of prey" swooped down and stole the chicken sandwich out of her hand. My uncle, my travel companion and a Korean War vet doc, fixed her up w antibiotic and some "plasters". Lovely gals, will post pix later.
In Dublin last week w grand-kids a gull snatched the sandwich out of a visitors hands. It was the most exciting part of the trip.
Honestly, I don't know. Maybe she is 'too blonde' - but I just try to post funny pics and don't care too much about the person.
I just had to find out more!
The Alpine Ibex goats are licking the mineral salts which leech from concrete. These salts are essential to their diet.
The Ibex have pincer-shaped hooves that give them purchase on rocks which protrude from the dam wall.
