People don't need extra calories. People need less calories - way less calories. And lard will clog your arteries.
Food in the US is sometimes quite substandard. So-called "fast food" is poison and shouldn't be allowed to be sold. In the US refined sugar is rarely used any more; it's too expensive. We use "high fructose corn syrup" which is many times more destructive to your health than refined sugar. This product is not allowed to be used in the EU or even Mexico, and it should not be allowed in the US either. People here sometimes refer to "Mexican Coke" which is just Coca Cola made with sugar instead of high fructose corn sugar. It tastes totally different.
Perhaps you're not aware of how grossly obese Americans are? It's an epidemic.

I expect Colin has burnt his Toast, as usual. And somebody stole the reset key.
Anyway, all Calm now restored. I personally did not panic. But as an Autistic Person, hated the noise. 🙁
