I didn't know people still got the famous Microsoft Blue Screen of Death! Thought it went out with Windows XP.
That's because I use Linux. Apple users are similarly laughing.
(Unless you have been living under a stone, you will have heard a bug-ridden and rather aptly named "Crowdstrike" antivirus software update has today caused numerous Microsoft users worldwide to have a complete system meltdown.
People stranded at airports. Pharmacies unable to dispense pills... it's endless.)
Some coffee shops are advising that cash still works. Happily, I still carry some. You just never know what will happen next. 🤣

A duff software update without an "undo" button.
Supermarkets are fun when there IT crashes.
I can remember my lights out deal on memory cards at a Tesco store.
Just as the checkout operator was beeping the reduced to clear items all the lights went out and came back on again a couple of seconds later.
We all had 20 minutes of distressed manager therapy. They actually had starting handles for the check out lanes. You could not make it up.

I received an empty envelope one time and spent way too long going in circles with their bot telling me that the item wasn't returnable when I said it arrived empty.View attachment 1335598
There, Amazon, I didn't receive it!
But.. Sooo cute.. 'Surely' such cuteness can't be a con...
Sadly, depending on where you live in the world, the repercussions of such a simple search can be quite.... different.
