I understand that sharks have to eat but the photo is not funny. The shark is not done with the seal pup. This is a harsh reality and I have to wonder about the intelligence of anyone who thinks it's funny.
I get that, but at the same time I don't go to the slaughter house and cheer or laugh as they kill the cow. Being terrified in their last moments and dieing a violent death is part of nature. But knowing something is a regular part of life and taking pleasure from it are two different things.
Plants have feelings too, so all you vegetarians can give it a rest.

And roughly for just the last 100 years we humans have been able to buy meat, without having to grow or hunt and kill+slaughter it ourselves.
