What I need is the possiblility of letting one amp handling the positive phase and the other the negative one.
In the same thread there's also a picture regarding quad bridging, this is the function I'm searching for.
Could anyone inside this forum tell me how to this
and hopefully a diy guide, on the basis of the PCB posted on the bottom of the same thread.

I checked that picture. It looks possible, however do you want to pursue this? Make sure that both power supplies are completely seperated other wise it will not work. Note that the power supllies of the upper and lower amps are modulated with the input signal. To me this method looks tricky and I would not consider it.

I'd like to pursue it by any means. The scenario is as much power as possible, although it might be unstable. The amps are only to be used for 5 seconds at a time, then switched off again. If they brake, they'll have to be replaced. As some of you probably know now, the amps will be used for SPL competitions.

Gertjan do you have a step by step guide? As all of us know that this procedure is a bit "tricky"

No, I don`t have a step-by-step guide and don`t plan to make one as I don`t plan to do this. I just plan to bridge them in the "normal" way for audio purposes. Competitions where people try to blow the windows out of their cars are not my cup of tea.

I once remember seeing on TV that people push against the windows from outside to avoid sound pressure loss inside the car through the vibrating windows. Do you also strengthen the doors etc?

In our class all modifications can be made behind the b-pillar. But the whole car has been damped with 4mm bitumen mats.
Thanks Kanwar! Are there any other possibilities of gaining more power? Maybe changing the internal capacitors/dc-dc converter?
