Possible power supply for my symasm?

I have been looking over the ESP pages and found that phantom 48V supply at http://sound.westhost.com/project96.htm
I was wondering if There was any way to mod this to fit my symasm4. I am inexperienced, but it looks (or more like sounds) like a good supply.
I am not quite sure how much current symasm4 takes but I think this circuit will work. I know that symasm4 doesn't have bad PSRR, but I am planning to use this supply for other projects while I (or maybe a friend) am in the process of building my symasm4. I will not post any wierd circuits, I promise! 😀

Probably not your best choice... that's a special setup for just for a certain kind of microphone. They call it "phantom" because it is some distance away and outof sight... not just a cool name. You probably need something much simpler (and less :$: ).

Can you post the requirements or links to the symasm4?

🙂

I couldn't read the document thoroughly, I understand that there is a 5V version, a non-5V version, and the normal version. Am I right? I don't fancy IC-based designs because for me, IC's are kindof hard to find. I am still messing around with my own design occasionally, and have found another way of getting it to work logically. I won't post it, as I promised-no silly circuits!

... Oh, yea! the rectifier and capacitor! I think I want something with lower ripple, though... I don't have any huge capacitors, so I don't think that is an easy option to make come to life. Any good and simple supplies that anyone has used with their symasym?
