Hey all, I'm building my first diy portable speaker and I was hoping someone might suggest a chip amp with/plus bluetooth to power this mono speaker off of an 18650 battery pack.
The quick specs are:
150W "program" power handling (internet has differing formulas defining this, but seems to be x2 the rms rating?)
8ohm
90.5dB
Crestron PD8T pendant speaker
I will gut everything but the crossover and plan to fabricate a pedestal so I have room to hide the electrical components.
What board and wattage would be well suited for this IRS, TPA, TDA, TAS, OPA...I have no idea why I would choose one over another?
My needs follow Loudness>Fidelity>Reliability=Features. It will likely be used for party music outdoors, just needs aux-in (3.5 jack) and bluetooth.
