I've built several of these and I really like 'um. I hook 'um up to all kinds of different speakers and I'm still amazed on how good they sound.. (ElCheepo Chip Amp_3 Watts/Ch.) 😀
They operate from a 5 volt bank battery. It powers the amp and the USB Bluetooth unit via a hacked-up USB extension cable. The enclosure is a 1/2" plastic conduit junction box with speaker wire connectors mounted to the sides. The "Plugs" for the holes of the junction box is 1/2" PVC end caps with holes drilled in 'um, just big enough to git the wires through.. (Hot glue used for stress relief)
I've ran one for 3 days (~24 hrs.) onna fully charged 5600mAh bank battery using it Bluetooth. It can be connected direct to a source via the Male 3.5mm cable. The Bluetooth unit can be removed, powered via the bank battery, and turn any amp/stereo into a Bluetooth receiver. If you gotta big enough bank battery, you could charge yer cell phone or whatever from the amp too.. 😉
Great for a little test amp or for a portable sound system..
Here's some pics.. (Pat. Pending)
