We most often convert to a slotted port but when we need a tube we use plumbing pipe.

Hello,

ABS pipe, PVC pipe, Heavy Duty mailing tubes or go to a print shop and ask for the heavy tube that the large rolls of paper come rolled on. Also an Architects's or Engineer's office will have the large tube that the large building plans are printed from.
