To Thomas,
I am very familiar with your work, and your fabrication skills. I wondered if you had ever considered making your own flairs. It seems plausible (and practical) to me. 2 1/2" thick wood material (Oak, whatever), a 1 1/2" roundover bit in multiple passes on low speed. On the other side, a rabbet to house and secure the PVC. Do it all again on the inside (or use an aeroport).
Unless the specific geometry of the Aeroport is key, this would make a very attractive improvement to any cabinet. Thoughts?
Michael
