porous absorber calculators

I agree, it is a reference but not super accurate

Fiberglass fill work best in high velocity area (AKA: the center of the room)

I have about 23 open shelfs filled with fiberglass (one bale of fiberglass per shelf) and still, it isn't doing much below 45Hz.
adding more shelf isn't even doing mesureable difference so I quit filling my basement with even more fiberglass.
One need other options to treat that low or like me, one have to accept the longer delay.

I've investigated diaphramic absorber but that another story 🙂

As far as I have read and seen from various diagrams the acousticmodeling is fairly accurate compared to predictions from AFMG Soundflow which is one of those high end acoustic softwares and simulations. https://www.afmg.eu/en/afmg-soundflow#versions-prices .Soundflow has a 30 days free trial. I think there are some limitations for the free trial, like saving results and printout (?). It should be enough to make some comparisons with identical "setups" for the 2 programs though.
