Polyview TV320, TV Box Deluxe

Hi everybody

I'm a newby and registered only a few days ago.
I'm still doing research, but am hoping to start building my projector soon.
I can buy a Polyview TV320, TV Box Deluxe at an online auction.
Would it be a good idea to connect this box to my lcd monitor in order to watch tv, dvd and play games or whatever I connect to it, all on the big screen?
The link shows the PixelView Play TV Box 3 but apparently it's the same thing.

Has anyone used this and/or know where to find reviews?
Are there perhaps better boxes?

They both seem to have good features. I paid $85 for mine and it was worth it.
