Please..a big hand for bonny_kjs (JP) for having patience with us and finding all the pitches for the various parts...and for getting the boards to be manufactured. And a big hand for John Broskie for sharing his work with us mortals.....does this sound like an acceptance speach?.....ok...then. 😀 . thanks for my mom and dad...and em.. and my family putting up with my time behind the computer....😉 ..o and I forgot the postal services..and em..

But most of all thanks to all those that are going to take the step to build the Aikido...I hope you all build it and share the results with us all...either pics or verbal....if you can't host the pics..please send them to me I'll put them up in a Aikido gallery.

I don´t want to complain really because the offer is not bad in general but 9.50 us per board for a non profit group buy seems to me slightly above average.I remember the aleph x group buy boards (although more numerous) worked out at 5 USD a piece and they were top class professional + made in the US(more expensive).

Good point..
50 cent is surcharge for John Broskie.
The prototypes 4 boards alone cost 20$
Paypal charges are absorbed. 3%
Shipping is sometimes done at a loss.
We did not know how many boards were going to be ordered. And had to take into account the shipping from India to me. Also had to take into account 20 dollars transfer costs of the payment for the boards.

Shipping of the boards to me has been done in 2 batches now.

The initial prices were determined with that in mind. (With a projected 50 pcb's)

Any "profit" made will be donated to diyAudio.com

Last but not least...No one has forced you to buy the boards. In fact early on in this thread I made everyone aware that John Broskie was also going to produce board...so you had an alternative...But you are right...9.50 is not cheap.

Full disclosure will be made of the costs.

Hi Guys,
I've deleted the "I have paypalled you posts." This thread is going to be too long. 😉 ..please only post here if you don't get a response from me via email.

Regards,
Bas

Hi Bas-
I sent funds via PayPal but have not received an e-mail from you.
Did you receive the money?
