Polk Audio S8 OEM crossover schematic

Hello. I have a pair of vintage Polk Audio S8 speakers which I purchase new many years ago. They're in great condition but I haven't used them in a long time. Wondering what to do with them and one choice is I'm considering upgrading the crossover with new parts and see what they sound like.

I've been looking for but can't find the OEM schematic. Can anyone help?

Regards,
Rob

Well found! 👍

Second order on tweeter (4.7 uF and 0.25 mH).

First order on mid/bass (0.7 mH).

The 4.7 uF is a non polar electrolytic and is the obvious candidate for replacing, since the speaker is over 25 years old.

The 0.25 mH is 22 awg air core and probably not in need of changing.

The 0.7 mH is 18 awg laminated steel core and is a possible candidate for upgrading to an air core.

N.B. I include the above for the information of any interested readers who have not yet opened the appropriate pdf!! 😉
