in the fashion of keeping this just strictly audio, i would personally like to see the "peace" thread DEAD.
there is PLENTY of anti-american comments from numerous members. it's quite offensive. the comments made specifically be gigatron, and others, are quite simply attacking and agressive.
i would much rather see porn or vulgarity on this forum that see another anti-american comment. war is a serious issue, and is something that is not an easy decision. if in fact we do go to war, it would be in the best interest for americans, and quite possibly for the rest of the world. i feel confident in my government to make decisions that further the US, as well as the world.
but, in the sake of contradicting myself, i will not waste any more space.

It is time to moderate. We had to put up with the "Why does it rain " thread . I was told that that was no harm in that...now Halojoy is gone.
To put up with the peace thread and Canada vs America is more than most of us can bear.
Why are you not moderating? We have a hobby that transcends race and nationality.
We would like to see what you term as pornographic (as posted by D'hean). It can't be worse than the tripe we have to put up with in the above threads.

IMO/IME forums work best when there is an area that is "off-topic" that you can view at will, but where those people who have formed friendships or aquaintanceships can discuss other things. Makes for a stronger and more interesting community, and keeps the on topic threads, on topic.

in light of this statement, what then is the purpose of moderation? since we are all able to read and not read what we want, we should be able to post/type ANYTHING, and if people do end up reading it, its at their own will?

i have never commented on any other government, political or religious viewpoints. in addition, i have not bashed those beliefs either.

Does that mean we have to go through the roof with measures and counter measures?
When I reflect on what happened to Bobken, Eric and now D'haen lately...I just wonder why these helpful, self effacing people need to be punnished?
Ask yourselves, how would you feel? Would you still support this community?
