I just got this a polaroid polaview projector panel and it is working through the VGA input but somehow i coudln't get it to work with the S-video and RCA input.. I was wondering anyone here know how i can change the mode to svideo or rca? Maybe need a remote? someone help me thanks😕
I really hope for your sake that the S-Video/RCA still works. We've all seen tons of panels advertised on eBay with the notice saying that the S-Video/RCA input is not working!

I have the same panel as you do and yes, you do need the remote to change the input to either S-video or RCA 🙂 . I have the remote control but it is kind of broken and I haven't got the time right now to fix it, but the dude I bought it from told me that the polaroid panel boots up in VGA mode and you MUST have the remote to change to either S-video or RCA. 🙁

Is it any good on fast scenes?
Color resolution: 16.7M
Response Time: 30ms (I've never seen any ghosting in fast scenes on my panel, I guess I will put it in to test when I get F-zero GX for Gamecube 😉 )
Screen diagonal: 8.4"
Contrast Ratio: 100:1
And so on...
yeah, I've got it as well, the panel that is.
I cant give any specific comments on it cause I ain't got my OHp yet, but will let you know how I get on. I always make sure, for waht I buy from now, that an item has all of its original accesories. I got my polaview 3000 for £115, about $170, but got the case, manual, remote, vga cable, mouse cable and power supply.
Hey, takusama, my monitor doesn't go as low as 640*480, but when I put it on the 800*600 view, I get a lot of objects on the screen moving slightly, like the lines that are displaying it, moving quite a lot. Is that something that yours has or is it likely to be the setting I've got it on.
leetcoder, if I see a remote for sale, I will let you know.

How is the screen door on this? Is it fairly noticeable? I really figured I should go with a 1024x768 panel but I would like to save some money. What about the contrast. Does it look decent? Good blacks?

I played grand theft auto vice city on it without an OHP and the contrast seemed pretty good although I was coming up with some weird colours. But thats probably down to the fact that my pc monitor only goes down to 800*600, which I am very annoyed about cause now I can't really use my pc with it.
I'm just gonna use me xbox/dvd and home theatre amp with it.
I don't really know what the screen door is but I didn't really notice anything offputtingabout the panel's display.

I have it too and its good , but dont buy it without the remote it adds so much more to your expeirience. Unless your just going to hook it up to a P.C. then its cool.
I got mine for only 71 dollars almost new on ebay. The seller said it didnt come with a remote or cables but when I got it I found the stuff in the nice hideaway case compartment. I was really blessed to get this thing so cheap Gaming on XBOX is GOOD.

Only because I was using it for a Christian youth group. so if you want it, reply

I would be interested if the one I am bidding on right now on ebay doesn't go through. It only has a little while left. I only have $85 to spend, including shipping, so if that isn't enough then you should probably look for another buyer.
