This might help some of the problems people are having with white/bright light bleed. Mine is set to deliver on Monday. This is a 5-star rated merchant from shopping.yahoo.com and it only cost me $42.70 shipped (the item is 35 flat) and the shipped it that day. Here it is "http://shop.store.yahoo.com/rainbowsymphony/linpolfilshe.html" It is a very cost effective thing to try (as polarized monior covers were like $100.00-$180.00) and it makes more sense to me because the monitor screen polarizers are made to go thru the film twice as to where the film sheet I bought is designed to block light going thru once (it is the same stuff they use for their sunglasses) and our OHP light is only going thru once🙂 I will let ya all know how it turns out after Monday. For those that have a lot of lumens and light bleed I would get one anyway just to see if it would help at all.

BTW, don't be fooled by the pic. They made it "curve" just for the advertisement. I called them and the insurred me it was not flimsy (too thin) and told me it was 3mm thick and had a protective/removable film over it during shipping. They told me it will hold its own weight (will not bow...or atleast not much) they were quick on the phone too and shipped it that day. And this is the only place I could find something like this. I hope it works out because it will help alot of ppes with glows and hazzes and crap like that on the screen.

Hey, Just wondering how this worked out... I seem to have some light bleeding... When I have a bright area next to a dark area, the dark is kind of flooded on the edges... too bright durring snowy scenes too... it's like there is too much contrast... but only when it is really bright...
Maybe I should make a video player that changes the brightness adqaptavly... that is, first measures the brightness of the frame, then adjust it accordingly... that would be sweet... good dark scenes and not so bad bright scenes...
well anyway, let me know how it went!

Maybe I should make a video player that changes the brightness adqaptavly... that is, first measures the brightness of the frame, then adjust it accordingly... that would be sweet... good dark scenes and not so bad bright scenes...
