Pocket mixer

Hi all. Ive been toying round with the idea of making my own version of the pokket mixer, becsise that price, for a passive mixer seems rather too salty for my tastes.

Anyway, i was thinking to do something based roughly on this design:

Compact DJ Station - RED - Page140

But simplified quite a lot.

For example i have no need for mic or phono sections, and the whole thing can actually be mono, since the source will be an android phone running "cross dj" with one "turntable" output on each side of the audio output.

So, as far as that goes, it should be a pretty simple circuit.

However id like a 3 way tone control, and ideally more of an "isolator" than your typical eq.

Guven that it will be mono, could anyone point me to a schematic i can use/modify? Im more of a maker than an electronic designer. Obviously given i want it tiny, component count should be as low as poss, even if i have to sacrifice some of the "isolation" effect to achieve it.. I believe proper isolators are rather complex.

Thanks for any suggestions, Robin.

hi, yeah i appreciate that, i was just hoping somebody might advise the simplest way to achieve something approaching an "isolator" style eq without using too many components. it seems isolator designs are much more complex than a normal "eq" but ive no idea where the limits of a simpler eq circuit might be etc..

basically im hoping somebody can suggest one "that ill like" thanks!
