You say;
"WARNING CAN PUT OUT SERIOUS VOLUME WICH CAN LEAD TO HEARING LOSS."

What kind of headphones you have? I was worrying about the output level of OPA134 that will be enough or not for my ear taste. But you say, it may be dangerous!

I am confused...

Hi Ozgur,
check out this thread. The headphone amp is based on Hiagra's design. I simulates very nicely. I am doing a PCB and will probably build it after New Year.

You are listening to an IPOD through Apple Earbuds and criticizing the quality of a Class-D Amp??????

No I am not critizing the Class D amps. As mentioned; I havent listened a good Class D until now.. However a lot of cheap Chinese "thing" uses that kind of amplifiers. And I cannot say theyre "audiophile".
In the other hand; I have never listened Earbuds and generally doesnt listen iPod via anykind of headphones. Because I dont like its sound even with my other headphones. However, iMod guy (Vinnie) says a lot of good thinks about modding on iPod. So Id like to try a iMod. And after this modding I'll need a portable amplifier. In fact I have designed a Class A headphone amplifier in the past. However it sucks a lot of current so not suitable for this position.

Anyway; I think its better to be not-prejudged about the persons...

I was pulling your leg ... how does that translate?

TI also has a very, very high quality Class AB headphone amplifiers but most of these require a microprocessor/codec.

The Class-D devices are very efficient so you get 30% more output power from the same set of batteries.
