@silvershadelynx I also don’t like loud, but I like “loud enough”, haha. I can say that all the full range speakers I have built have done the job. However, I have never had a system in such a large room. Others will have more experience and will surely chime in.
@cogitech thanks for your response! Maybe in at a stage I will put them in a much smaller room, but I will use / try them first in my large workshop.
Another question: I have spruce boards, and esthetically I prefer them to birch plywood, and I like to re-use them. (they come from an old cabinet) Would it be ok to apply them for this loudspeaker, acoustically speaking? I am aware of moisture changes in wood and air and the corresponding movement in the wood.
According to the thread below it should be possible, ok, if I'm correct:

Hello!
Anyone has built speaker cabinet with spruce wood? What is the thickness did you try?
Thanks!

Hi all, I found many links / threads about the Frugel-Horn Mk3, but where can I find the most recent building plans?
@silvershadelynx I believe the 2012 plans are the latest. The link in the main build thread is broken, so I've attached the plans from my folder.
I'm sure Dave @planet10 will confirm that these are the most up to date plans.

Simplier, smoother, more versatile, a bit taller... discontinuation of FE126e had us starting over, hence FH Mk3.
After a couple iterations and a failed alpha build, we trialled a design at the recent VI diyFEST we are happy with. The alphas were built with removable drivers and we tried it with FE126En, CHR-70, EL70, and Alpair7,
Now we are ready for some beta builds.
