Which PLL (from any company) should I use with SPDIF data ?
Guido Tent offers a VHQ PLL reclocking PCB with extremely
low jitter rejection corner frequency and a very low jitter
VCXO. I believe this should be far superior to any chip based
solution available.
He is around here somewhere.... Guido??
Cheers,

I cannot use PCB in my project. I need a PLL itself.
Hi
I am around.....
I designed a PLL that uses very ow corner frequency and lowjitter VCXO and low noise power supplies
It is intended to upgrade DACs, where clocks have jitter from 200ps to 1 ns. My unit cleans it up to 8ps
I can send you seperate information if you like
best regards
Vcxo
Hi Guido.
Can this VCXO be made with discrette components?? I mean with diodes /varicap??/ and a crystal. It should be possible. I suppose you have tried this method. What are the results??
The vcxo modules are very hard to find /here/. Does farnell sell them??
The other metod is using the not-liked-by-everybody ASRC like AD1896....... But this is a different design.

Re: Vcxo
Hi
Yes you can build a VCXO yourself, but I also sell canned modules, with or without PLL circuit (called XO DAC).
I have built discrete VCXO's but prefer canned modules as these are less sensitive to external disturbance.
