PLH advise

Have been looking at this circuit since first revealed in Audioxpress Magazine.
Initially, pot P2 was of some concern as hi wattage pots are not easy to find(and are price precious).

Question is can a wirewound pot fill the bill? What have you used. Is 2watts really enough ??

I've always shied away from wirewound with audio .

As a general rule that pot will operate at about 1/2 watt. A 2 watt
potentiometer is fine.

Part# NTE501-0004 would work nicely. They are molded carbon made by PEC.

Thank you for the clarification. I scored a pair of Clarostat 2 watt unused vintage pots on ebay after your replies . Only obstacle now is the will (and a $50 Antek).
