My guess is red positive, black negative - this is a common colour convention. Can you work it out from how it was used in the circuit?
I also presumed that this convention would apply. However, this is for my customer, who wants to be absolutely sure he's fitting it the right way round. Also I don't have view of the circuit. Ho hum. Thanks for your help....
I used some of these back in the late 60`s. I always connected them red positve and black negative, never occurred to me to do anything else. They always worked.
