PLENTY OF IXTK 62N25 mega mosfets

may be something with mo power ? these are 250V 62A devices ....

Thats 62A when used as a switch and fully saturated, the linear SOA is way less, maybe 2A at 50V Vds or less.

Theres no linear SOA diagram in the datasheet so i'd say these are made exclusively for switching and switching only.

Reads about 300W and the specs in the first page reckon 380W Pd.

Weird ratings if they can only take up to 100V at DC conditions.

However 5A SOA at 70V is pretty good. 4-6 of these per channel should make for a 200-350WRMS into 4ohm amplifier and up to around 700W peak.

4A at 100V is 400W, the max rating of the part.

It's about 6A at 70V, or 400W.

At higher voltages these get hot-spots, not unlike BJT.
