I own a yamaha 02r I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with it I got no sound coming out of the stereo analog out does anyone have any experience with this? I suspect that its the digital to analog converter which is the burr brown pcm1702 does anyone know what happens when this digital to analog converters go bad? Do you just stop having signal? Please help!! Any advice would be really helpful thx!!! Or if anyone knows where I can get a copy of the service manual that would also be very thankful thank you!!!

As Enzo answered in the previous thread, there are muting transistors on those outputs and the first thing that you should check is whether they are ON (meaning muted). And this can be checked by measuring voltages on bases of each of the transistors. This would be my first guess. So I suggest that you find a transistor that is just before the headphones output and check voltage on its base. If it is higher that 0.65V, you mixer is simply muted.

Ok I will test those out. Hope fully this will help me determine what's wrong with it I'm also on wait for the d/a converters to swap those out I've had other boards where some Chanells didn't have an output either swaped the a/d converter and it worked. I'll check the transistors as you mention first and go from there. Any idea of what happens if the d/a converter goes bad??
