*PLEASE* Help me design a pre-amp circuit for audio signals

Hello all,

I'm looking to design a preamp circuit for audio signals in the frequency range of 300Hz and 3.4kHz with a gain of 2V. I have been away from the world of electronics for a while, (since my time at university). As far as I am aware I believe I will need to include high pass and low pass filters, but I'm not certain what goes in between and what other components will be required.

Just wondering if anyone has any pointers as to where I should start with this?

Thanks in advance!

Pat.

Easiest would probably be using a few opamps; first a buffer, then Sallen-Key filters for the high-pass and low-pass.

What's it for? Sounds like a crossover for a midrange loudspeaker, but then you'd be wanting bass and treble sections as well?
