I builded a ss guitar amp whit a jfet preamp and two TDA7294 chips on bridge configuration.
The preamp its based on the ideas presented on runoffgroove and Ericks corner, i just take a look on some old tube amp schematics and adjusted some values to my personal taste.
Please let me know what do you think about it
Thanks

Because I like insane distortion , the Input opamp gives gain to totally overdrive the tube , the output opamp is a buffer that gives a low inpedance output to the Inverting Tone controll stage ... with the adjustable gain on the first stage and the level controll between the two triodes I can go from clean to insanely distorted .... The cathode of the tube stages aren"t bypassed so the gain isn"t as high as it might seem within the tube stage but I might experement with putting switchabe caps in the cathodes ...
Actually a lot of the design is based on a PAIA Kit I bought so I know the basic configuration should work ....

Hi,
Surely "insane" is the wrong adjective to use.
If you and your listeners/customers like the sound your guitar produces then it's quite sane.
If however, they all leave as you turn up the pedals, then maybe that's insane.
That begs the question: who is insane? The listening public or the musician?

Wow Andrew , That is some pretty deep stuff , philosophy at its best .....
Actually with the 100w head in the picture does have some super heavey distortion tones , I usually play with they tube drive on 10 but the solid state overdrive (the first opamp) on about 3.5 and it is really heavey , any higher it just turns into a untameable beast , but it sounds freaking awesome....
