I know your'e going to tell me to search, or not answer the post at all, but I've been searching for 3 hours, and read the FAQ, but I can't find it!
Could someone please tell me what input is better quality? either A/V (RCA) or VGA, or Component. The reason i'm asking is not for my projector, but instead, i'm assembling a in-car PC, and need to find a decent 640x480 7"-8" LCD. I found one for $125, but it only has an A/V input. My motherboard has both VGA and TV out (RCA) Please help, as I can't find any info!

Would the image quality diffrence between VGA and RCA be noticeable on a 7" LCD mounted in the dash of my car? It's not like i'm using it for projection. Thanks. 😉
Snooch probbably not considering is just ment to be directly viewed( ie not projection) what are you using it for? on the dash, in the head rests? for 25-30 more bucks you could buy a 14 inch lcd monitor( tho that wouldnt exactly fit in a headrest( tho it would in the back of a seat ;-) good luck and take pics of your progress

Basically I'm going to be undertaking this project:

Installing a mini-ITX form factor computer into my Trans Am. It'll be able to play MP3's over my 1000 watt sereo system, play DVD's have GPS navigation capabilities, as well as anything a normal computer is capable of. I've priced all of the components, and everything minus the installation parts and cables will run me $500-$600.
