I am also planning to build similar OB, but with only one woofer/channel. Are you able to drive Alphas with Simple SE?

Hi Bibin,
Progress is slow. I am currently gathering the parts (and the $ to do so 🙂)
Planning to do the following:
I am going to put a miniDSP right after the volume pot of the simple SE and from there use the minis DSP to cross the signal over. One high back into the amp to drive the tangbands. The other low into one Hypex DS4.0 amp for each side to drive the double eminence speakers.
So the simple se will only drive the W8-1808's

I am thinking of using Dayton Audio PS180-8 6-1/2" Point Source Full-Range Neo Driver along with Alpha 15A.

Experts please post your opinion on using PS180-8 as extended range in this OB.
