There's no big reason to avoid non-inductive WW, but why not use Metal Oxide like these?

I thought I read that MOX resistors were noisy in comparison to MF or WW. It was just a consideration.

I was tired of looking for higher watt resistors in higher ohms in my stash. So I ordered a whole crapload of these in 9W at a wide variety of values, hope they work out. The higher watt ones don't use color code, its printed in text. Average cost was around .35 cents, I'm not gonna say how many I bought lets just say Ill be dead before I use them up.

By the way Newark has these same resistors for 1/3 the cost of Mouser, most values at Mouser are $1.39 to $1.50 while at Newark they all averaged .39 to .49 cents! Weird, exactly the same product.
