Hmm AK47 Boy could you please elaborate? like do you mean, have a tube before the 811 that is both modulated and an RF amp and then have that signal amplified by the 811? How would this work?
Yeah my main issue seems to be how to incorporate the 811 tube into this project. I'm wondering If I can use the 807 as an oscillator and modulate it with the audio signal, then if I can apply the output of the 807 into the grid of the 811?
Like in this schematic I made. Tell me if this idea would work? not work? any suggestions are appreciated? Or if I can simply use the 811 and modulate that with the audio signal.

Or perhaps a grounded grid type system would work like this?

I know it might be a bit hard to follow.
Basically, I'm using the 807 as an oscillator, and then I'm taking its output, and sending that into the cathode of the 811. The grid is grounded. The Anode of the 811 is connected to a tesla coil which creates the plasma spark.
Any corrections appreciated.

Ya
I am assuming a plasma tweeter operates like a 27mhz AM transmitter. I still have not done any reading on the subject of plasma tweeters or built one. Like this:
af signal ------------->pentode drivers screen
27mhz signal ------->pentode drivers grid
pentode drivers anode -------> triode 811's grid
This does complicate building but i think design will be much easier than a single tube setup.
hmm yes, I just asked a professor of electrical engineering. He told me to just copy all the other plasma tweeter designs but then later have it followed by the grounded grid 811 tube. So hopefully it works out. I just ordered all the parts I can't wait to get them.
Another thing.
If you have to ask a lot of questions about using an 811 or any other tube that uses high voltage backed by some real current?
Don't
You can get really dead really quick with high voltages that have any current available.
If you are going to work on a project that has exposed high voltages, and one that you are not familliar with, it is really important to have someone actually help you step by step, and not work on it alone. Definitely do not work on it when you are tired.
