piston diameter for a coax

driver piston area, sd, is calculated from piston diameter

for a coaxial driver like a seas or ab acoustics, where the tweeter is in no part of the piston area of the woofer, should not this be accounted for? the piston area should therefor be less for a coaxial driver that has a tweeter in place instead of a dust cap?

both seas and sb acoustics does not care about the tweeter, they calculate sd strictly by piston diameter

this applies to drivers with fixed phase plug too?

and what about pro audio coaxials with a protective fabric dustcap, are they not acoustical transparent?
