Hi guys,
I am debating wheather to purchase this sub.The specs are quite tempting for a midium power sub.Has anyone ever used this before? How accurate are the specs?
Claimed specs:
rms 250 watts (max.1200 W)
sensitivity 95 db
frequency response 20-180hz.
Regards

Hi, I actually just put a TS-W3004SPL into my sub box just to get an idea of what it would sound like as I am about to build a new box for it.
The box it is in is too small for it but even so it sounds really really good, it dops very low, so I can say it will sound even better when its in the new box.

Here is the manual that its shipped with, maybe it will help you decide.

And this is the one that I am using,(if you want to make a comparison) I actually have two of these.🙂

I hope this is of some help to you.

FYI: the published specs are ambiguous at best since its Mms, Cms, Rms, BL calculates considerably different Fs, Qts, specs to the point where the latter dictates a near doubling of cab net Vb, so short of measuring them, using a sealed alignment based on its Fs, Vas, Qts seems a reasonable choice; but at ~16.8 ft^3 seems a bit much considering its Xmax severely limits its low distortion peak SPL down low if there's not a significant amount of room gain like one gets in a typical vehicle.

Agree, I found more believable T/S data..?.. that I tried to use for use in a T-TQWT 🙂. See the plotted simulation results in the picture:
