I have an old Pioneer SX-3800 that has served me well since I bought it in 1981 (I think). Recently I turned it on & got nothing (appears no power at all). Checked all fuses - good. I have a schematic and have read all of the inputs to the power supply board, and I believe all are good (although I don't have anything that says what they should be). For example, I have 50VAC between pins 2 - 3, and 1 - 3; 12VAC between pins 4 - 5; and 35VAC between pins 26 - 28, and 27 - 28. On the right side of the board i am getting nothing (i.e. 0VDC on pins 20, 22, 18, 15, & 17, to pin 19 ground). The schematic shows all of these should have DC voltage. I can not see anything in the schematic that would be in common to cause all of these outputs to be bad. I am by no means an expert at reading schematics, so must be missing something. Any ideas??? I have tapped around on the board trying to find a loose solder connection, and physically looked for signs of burnt components - no luck. Appreciate any thoughts.
